MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611075102 A) filed by Saurabh Choudhary on June 17, 2026, for Closed-Loop Hybrid Ai And Blockchain System For Offline-Capable Crop Sensing, Grading, And Cold- Chain Coordination.
Inventors include Saurabh Choudhary; and Dr. Sachin Malhotra.
The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a closed-loop, offline-capable agricultural intelligence system integrating hybrid artificial intelligence, camera-based grading, blockchain-ledger traceability, and automated cold-chain coordination. The system captures sensor and image data at the farm level, executes on-device hybrid AI analytics for forecasting, anomaly detection, and grading with confidence scores, and records structured event data to a permissioned blockchain ledger. Each produce batch is assigned a unique QR code enabling verifiable traceability across the supply chain. The system generates cold-chain and dispatch triggers based on crop type, grade, and perishability, ensuring timely logistics activation. Consumer-side feedback, including QR scans, quality ratings, and delivery confirmations, is ingested to retrain AI models and enhance accuracy. Operating seamlessly in low-connectivity environments, the platform enables end-to-end transparency, trust, and adaptive intelligence in agricultural production, post-harvest handling, and consumer interaction—bridging farm-level sensing with verifiable, data-driven market transactions.
