The system includes thermal imaging and visual monitoring modules, environmental and waste-gas sensing modules, and load distribution and transport dynamics monitoring modules configured to continuously acquire physiological, environmental, hygiene, behavioural, and transportation-related information associated with transported livestock. An artificial intelligence-based predictive welfare engine processes real-time thermal, environmental, load-distribution, vibration, and animal movement information to generate predictive welfare assessments and dynamic control outputs. An adaptive cage reconfiguration framework comprising configurable enclosure sections and movable partition mechanisms modifies accommodation conditions according to welfare requirements, animal density, movement patterns, and transportation conditions. An environmental control and welfare actuation system performs adaptive cooling, ventilation, sanitation, and hygiene management actions based on predicted welfare conditions. The control engine continuously compares predicted welfare outcomes with measured conditions and updates optimisation parameters autonomously.
