Abstract: The titled invention discloses an intelligent smart farming system for automated disease detection in chilli plants. The system comprises a mobile robotic platform equipped with a camera module (9) for capturing real-time images of chilli plant leaves, and an array of environmental sensors (1a, 1b, 1c) including a soil moisture sensor, a DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor, and an ultrasonic sensor for obstacle detection. An onboard processing unit comprising a microcontroller (3a) and a processor executes a deep learning-based Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model (6a) trained to analyze captured leaf images and classify plant health status as healthy or diseased. An loT communication module transmits environmental sensor data and disease classification results to a ThingsBoard cloud-based dashboard (7a) for real-time monitoring and visualization. A rechargeable battery pack (5a) provides portable power enabling field deployment without fixed electrical infrastructure. The system further includes an alert and notification mechanism that generates real-time alerts upon detection of diseased plants or abnormal environmental conditions, enabling timely farmer intervention. The integrated system combines robotics, multisensor environmental monitoring, loT connectivity, and deep learning technology to provide continuous, automated crop surveillance, facilitating early disease detection, improved crop protection, and enhanced agricultural productivity in precision farming applications.
