Abstract: A coffee cherry harvesting device, comprising a body 101, an input means to provide input command regarding initiation of a coffee cherry harvesting operation, an imaging unit 104 to capture visual and three-dimensional spatial data of coffee plants, determine ripeness of cherries based on colour spectrum analysis, detect spatial orientation of branches and obstructions, and generate coordinated positional data, an L-shaped articulated pole 106 having a plucking and storing unit, extends to position the unit precisely adjacent to identified ripe cherries while avoiding contact with unripe cherries and delicate branches for selective detachment and collection of ripe coffee cherries, a SCARA arm 112 to translate along the body 101 for collecting fallen coffee cherries from ground surface based on visual detection, and places within a chamber 114 arranged with the body 101 for segregated storage.
