Abstract: The Colour-Based Product Sorting System is an automated system designed to identify and sort products according to their colour, reducing manual effort and improving sorting efficiency. The proposed system uses a colour sensor to detect the colour of products moving on a conveyor belt. The detected colour information is processed by a microcontroller, which compares the sensor output with predefined colour values. Based on the identified colour, the controller activates a servo motor or other sorting actuator to direct the product into the appropriate collection bin. The system provides fast, consistent, and automated product segregation and can be applied in manufacturing, packaging, agricultural, recycling, and material-handling industries. The proposed system helps reduce human error, improve productivity, and provide a low-cost solution for colour-based automated sorting
