Abstract: A communication method and apparatus. The present application supports IEEE protocols, such as the IEEE802.11be/Wi-Fi 7/EHT protocol, the IEEE 802.11bn/UHR/Wi-Fi 8 protocol, the IEEE 802.15/UWB protocol, and the IEEE 802.11bf/sensing protocol. The present application provides a subcarrier plan, and the communication apparatus can use the subcarrier plan to transmit a pilot signal. The subcarrier plan satisfies: some of subcarriers in each of K resource units (RUs) cyclically appear at equal intervals within a partial frequency domain range; and the K RUs comprise a first RU and a second RU, and a relative position of a first pilot subcarrier in the first RU is different from a relative position of a second pilot subcarrier in the second RU. Thus, the pilot subcarriers are more discrete, thereby facilitating improvement of phase estimation and correction performance.
