Abstract: A communication method and a communication apparatus, applied to a scenario in which AI is combined with a wireless network. The method comprises: a second apparatus acquires first interference signal strength, and sends first indication information to a first apparatus, wherein the first indication information is used for indicating a first encoder model or a first encoder function, the first encoder model or the first encoder function is used for processing a CSI, and the first encoder model or the first encoder function is related to the first interference signal strength. By means of the technical solution of the present application, the first encoder model or the first encoder function is determined under the condition that the first interference signal strength is taken into account, in order to improve AI-based CSI feedback performance.
