Abstract: COMMUNITY SOLAR ENERGY SHARING SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF ABSTRACT A community solar energy sharing system (100) is disclosed. The system (100) comprising photovoltaic generation units (102) to generate electrical energy; battery units (104) configured to store the generated electrical energy; Internet of Things (IoT) sensors (106) configured to: monitor electrical energy generation from the photovoltaic generation units (102), battery storage status of the battery units (104), and electrical energy consumption by community members, and generate generation data, storage data, and consumption data corresponding thereto. The system (100) is configured to receive the generation data, the storage data, and the consumption data from the Internet of Things (IoT) sensors (106); allocate energy credits to user accounts based on the generation data, the consumption data, and user engagement; facilitate exchange and redemption of the allocated energy credits among community members; and analyse the generation data, the storage data, and the consumption data to identify households requiring social support.
