The composition is used in a binder for electrochemical devices and includes a fibrillated resin and at least one lithium/sodium compound selected from the group consisting of lithium/sodium salts and lithium/sodium supplements. The amount of the fibrillated resin is 20 mass% or more with respect to the composition, and the total amount of the fibrillated resin and the lithium/sodium compound is 40 mass% or more with respect to the composition.
