The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.

Abstract: The invention relates to computer-implemented recruitment analytics, and particularly to a system and method for automated resume screening and candidate ranking using natural language processing and semantic similarity analysis. The system includes a candidate resume input module, a resume parser and text extraction module, a natural language preprocessing module, a feature extraction module, a job description processing module, a similarity matching engine, a candidate ranking module, and a recruiter dashboard or output interface. Candidate resumes in heterogeneous formats are parsed, normalized, and converted into structured candidate profiles, while recruiter-provided job description text is processed into structured job requirement profiles. Numerical representations, including TF-IDF vectors in a common feature space, are compared using cosine similarity and optionally weighted attribute-level scoring to generate relevance scores and ranked candidate outputs, including flexible evaluation of incomplete resume data.
