Abstract: A computer-implemented system (100) for synthetic data lineage verification using graph-neural provenance embeddings is disclosed. The system (100) includes a memory (102), a processor (104), and a communication module (106) configured to receive source datasets, synthetic datasets, and provenance-related metadata associated with a synthetic data generation workflow. A provenance graph construction module (110) dynamically generates a provenance relationship graph representing source data entities, synthetic data entities, transformation operations, and dependency relationships. A graph-neural encoding module (112) processes the provenance relationship graph using graph neural network operations to generate graph-neural provenance embeddings representative of lineage characteristics associated with synthetic datasets. A lineage verification module (118) validates lineage consistency using graph similarity analysis and dependency reconstruction operations. An integrity validation module (120) detects anomalous or unauthorized synthetic datasets. The system improves synthetic data traceability, lineage reconstruction capability, tamper detection accuracy, and computational efficiency across distributed synthetic data environments. Fig. 1
