MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511132987 A) filed by Hemasree Koganti on December 29, 2025, for Computing Apparatus For Risk Scoring In Distributed Financial Systems And Method Thereof.
Inventor includes Hemasree Koganti.
The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: A computing apparatus and computer-implemented method for risk scoring in distributed financial systems are disclosed. The apparatus receives transactional data streams from a plurality of heterogeneous financial nodes operating across distributed network environments and transforms the received data into a standardized internal representation through protocol-aware decoding, schema alignment, and temporal normalization. Risk-relevant features are extracted by correlating current transaction attributes with historical behavioral profiles, relational interaction patterns, and contextual baselines maintained in persistent storage. A composite risk score is computed by aggregating transaction-level, counterparty-level, and systemic-level indicators using dynamically adjusted contribution parameters responsive to detected conditions within the distributed financial system. The composite risk score is compared against adaptive, jurisdiction-aware risk thresholds to generate a risk classification state that is transmitted to downstream financial control systems for real-time authorization, escalation, or mitigation. The disclosed invention improves technical operation of distributed financial infrastructures by enabling low-latency, adaptive, and explainable risk assessment while maintaining throughput and consistency under high transaction volumes.
