Abstract: Condensation-Safe Multi-Zone Thermoelectric Wearable Garment with Intelligent PCM and Polarity Control This invention describes a condensation-safe multi-zone thermoelectric wearable garment is disclosed for adaptive localized heating, cooling, and thermal buffering. The garment includes independently controlled climate-control zones, each regulated according to localized temperature, humidity, thermal-state, and safety conditions. A controller computes zone-specific dew-point values and reduces or inhibits cooling when condensation risk is detected. The controller further estimates phase-change material melt fraction using accumulated thermal- energy transfer and stored latent-heat parameters, and modulates thermoelectric duty cycle according to the estimated thermal-storage state. Safe transition between heating and cooling is achieved through zero-current dead-time and verification of thermal-gradient decay before polarity reversal. Adjacent-zone thermal conflict is prevented by restricting opposite-polarity operation between neighboring zones when thermal differential exceeds a predetermined threshold. Adaptive skin-safety control disables unsafe operation based on maximum temperature, minimum temperature, excessive temperature-change rate, or abnormal thermal response, thereby providing efficient, stable, and physiologically safe wearable microclimate regulation.
