An apparatus configured to: determine whether to activate gradual timing adjustment with at least one user equipment for a reception point, wherein the at least one user equipment is configured to transmit uplink signaling to the reception point; and transmit, to at least one user equipment, an indication of whether to activate the gradual timing adjustment for the reception point.
