Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a consent-driven healthcare data firewall system for granular, purpose-bound, and time-limited medical data access control. The system comprises an Electronic Health Record (EHR) Data Source (101), a Consent-Based Firewall (102), a Patient Consent Policy Repository (103), Access Logs (104), aConsent-Evaluation Engine(105),aPurpose-Bound Data Access module (106), and an Audit & Compliance Engine (108). The Consent-Based Firewall (102) intercepts healthcare data access requests at runtime and dynamically validates requester identity, intended purpose, requested data category, and temporal validity against patient-defined consent policies stored in the Patient Consent Policy Repository (103). Based on evaluation results generated by the Consent- Evaluation Engine (105), the system selectively grants, restricts, masks, or denies access to healthcare information through the Purpose-Bound Data Access module (106). The invention further supports audit logging, compliance monitoring, consent revocation, and automatic permission expiry for secure and accountable healthcare data exchange.
