Abstract: A container storage and retrieving assistive device, comprises of a platform 101 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface of a shelf, plurality of suction cups 102 to adhere to the surface for securing the platform 101 on the surface, a circular plate 103 for enabling a user to accommodate multiple containers for storing purposes, plurality of flaps 104 by means of plurality of telescopically operated links 105 to extend/retract for deploying the flaps 104 for forming a boundary around the plate 103, plurality of extendable L-shaped bars 106 for lifting the plate 103 as per requirement, a microphone 107 for enabling the user to provide input voice commands for fetching a user-desired container stored on a disc 112, an imaging unit 108 to determine position of the user, and a motorized C-shaped clamp to grab the container for moving the container towards the user.
