Abstract: Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for implementing containerization in web development using Docker and Kubernetes to improve application deployment, scalability, portability, and resource management across distributed computing environments. More particularly, the invention provides a framework for packaging web applications and their dependencies into lightweight, isolated containers that can execute consistently across development, testing, and production platforms without compatibility issues. The proposed system integrates container-based virtualization with automated orchestration mechanisms to simplify deployment and lifecycle management of modern web applications. Docker is utilized for creating standardized container images, dependency isolation, rapid deployment, and efficient utilization of system resources. Kubernetes is employed for intelligent orchestration of containers including automated scaling, load balancing, service discovery, fault tolerance, rolling updates, self- healing, and cluster management. The invention further enables continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows to accelerate software delivery while minimizing downtime and operational overhead. The system supports deployment in cloud, hybrid-cloud, and on-premise infrastructures while maintaining application portability and interoperability. Security features including container isolation, role-based access control, secure image repositories, network policy enforcement, and runtime monitoring are incorporated to enhance reliability and protect applications from unauthorized access and vulnerabilities. The invention also provides mechanisms for monitoring performance metrics, managing microservices architecture, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring high availability of web services under varying workloads. By utilizing containerization technologies, the proposed framework reduces infrastructure costs, simplifies application maintenance, and improves scalability and operational efficiency in enterprise web development environments. Accordingly, the invention offers a robust, scalable, and secure containerized web development ecosystem that enhances deployment consistency, accelerates application delivery, and enables efficient orchestration and management of distributed web applications using Docker and Kubernetes technologies.
