Abstract: Abstract Context-Aware Backpack Security and Asset Protection System The present invention relates to a context-aware backpack security and asset protection system for intelligent monitoring and protection of portable assets. The system comprises an embedded controller, a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver, a motion sensing module, a wireless communication interface, a power management module, a rechargeable power source, and an alert generation module. The embedded controller acquires positional and motion information, performs contextual evaluation, computes a continuously updated Backpack Security Confidence Score, distinguishes normal usage from suspicious activity, dynamically regulates localization frequency and power consumption, and automatically executes graduated security responses including user notification, audible alerts, cloud synchronization, and emergency tracking. Historical movement characteristics are continuously analysed to improve event classification and reduce false alarms. The invention provides improved asset security, enhanced recovery capability, adaptive energy management, and context-aware autonomous decision-making compared with conventional GPS tracking systems.
