Abstract: [Problem to be Solved] To provide a control apparatus for a vehicle that enables an occupant of a vehicle to readily visually recognize that an eco-mode is selected. [Solution] A control apparatus for a vehicle 1 includes: an ACC control part 21 configured to execute an adaptive cruise control function of performing constant speed travel by maintaining a set vehicle speed when a preceding vehicle is not present in a lane in which the vehicle is traveling ,and performing following travel so as to follow a preceding vehicle by maintaining a set inter-vehicular distance when the preceding vehicle at the set vehicle speed or lower is present; a meter display 50 installed on an instrument panel in a front part of the vehicle; and a display control part 22 configured to control display of the meter display 50, wherein the adaptive cruise control function has a normal mode with normal energy efficiency and an eco-mode with higher energy efficiency than the normal mode as travel modes, and the display control part 22 switches display on the meter display 50 between a case in which the normal mode is set and a case in which the eco-mode is set as the travel mode of the adaptive cruise control function.
