Abstract: Process for Preparing Silicon-Anchored Silver–Copper Hybrid Nanoparticles for Controlled Release Agricultural Applications The present invention discloses a silicon-anchored Si-Ag-Cu hybrid nano-system for controlled metal delivery in agricultural applications. The system comprises a silicon nano-matrix in a concentration ranging from 0.5 to 2.5 percent w/v, a silver phase in a concentration ranging from 10 to 80 ppm, and a copper phase in a concentration ranging from 50 to 300 ppm, along with a stabilizer system, wherein the components are integrated through sequential adsorption and reduction using sodium borohydride and ascorbic acid under controlled pH and temperature conditions. The process results in a hierarchical nano-architecture with particle size in the range of 20 to 100 nanometer, enabling controlled release of metal ions, reduced leaching, and suppression of copper oxidation. The invention provides a stable, scalable, and efficient nano-formulation that enhances agricultural performance while minimizing toxicity and environmental loss.
