MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611109701 A) filed by Manav Rachna University on September 12, 2026, for Controlled Transport Container Event Authentication System.
Inventors include Dr Vivek Sharma; and Dr. Bhim Singh.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: Disclosed is a controlled transport container event authentication system comprising a base, a hinged lid, an over-centre latch, and a replaceable seal cartridge received in a slot adjacent a movement path of a retaining projection of the latch. The retaining projection enters a first region of the seal cartridge in a retaining position. During movement of the latch toward a lid-release position, the retaining projection passes through a state-changing region of the seal cartridge and changes the cartridge from an initial detected state to an opened detected state before the lid is released. A retention feature restricts removal and reinsertion of the opened cartridge in a condition corresponding to the initial state. A reader detects the cartridge state, and a security processor generates a cryptographically signed event record corresponding to the detected state.
