Abstract: A cooking vessel covering device, comprises of a circular body 101 configured to be positioned over a cooking vessel, a vent regulation unit 102 configured to automatically control release and retention of heat, steam, and moisture based on the sensor inputs, a pair of motorized clamping units 103 to secure the body 101 to the cooking vessel during unsafe thermal or motion conditions, and a mesh retention unit 104 actuated to prevent unintended draining of solid or valuable food material and a heat-adaptive color indicator layer 105 providing passive visual safety indication, constructed of a heat-resistant, lightweight alloy combined with a non-stick, scratch- resistant coating.
