Abstract: ABSTRACT COST EFFECTIVE AND COMPACT MULTI CHANNEL DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR ACCURATE TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT USING THE SAME A multi-channel data acquisition system, which is portable, cost-effective and accurate for temperature measurement using thermistors is disclosed. This multi-channel data acquisition can be integrated with a desktop or mobile application using Bluetooth connectivity to control the measurement process and to retrieve the temperature data. A sophisticated algorithm ensures accuracy, while an intuitive interface and error checking mechanisms enhances usability. The rechargeable battery in the system offers back up of atleast 20 hours for continuous operation. This invention details about a method to calibrate multi-channel data acquisition system against high accuracy data acquisition system. It is a non-repetitive process for a particular hardware design as well as single unit calibrations are not needed. The present invention revolutionizes non-destructive testing, providing an economical alternative to traditional systems, enabling the deployment of multiple units and making accurate temperature measurements accessible across a wide range of applications.
