Abstract: ABSTRACT COST-EFFECTIVE VACUUM CHAMBER SYSTEM WITH SELF-SUSTAINING PRESSURE ISOLATION FOR ENHANCED POLYMER IMPREGNATION IN BIOLOGICAL TISSUE-PLASTINATION The present invention discloses cost- effective, portable, and energy-efficient vacuum-chamber-system (100) specifically designed for forced polymer impregnation stage of the biological tissue-plastination process. The system (100) comprises a sealed plywood enclosure (110) with silicone-sealed interior corners, a toughened glass front-panel (120) enabling visual monitoring, a connecting pipe (130) coupling the enclosure to an external vacuum pump (140), a pressure gauge (150), and a dual ball-valve architecture comprising a first ball valve (160) for pressure release and a second ball valve (170) for chamber pressure isolation. The inventive two-step method comprises vacuum-generation step wherein, pump evacuates the chamber to approximately 30mmHg, followed by self-sustaining pressure maintenance step wherein both valves are closed and the pump is deactivated, maintaining internal pressure at 25 to 30mmHg for 18-24 hours without electrical power consumption. The system is fabricable at approximately INR 8,000, representing a 95 to 98 percent cost reduction relative to commercial equivalents. [
