Abstract: A method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) and related apparatus are provided. In the method, the UE receives, from a network entity, a configuration for a CSI report for a first number of CSI-RS ports. The configuration includes a CSI-RS resource set including multiple CSI-RS resources, each CSI-RS resource in the CSI-RS resource set associated with up to a threshold number of CSI-RS ports. The first number of CSI-RS ports is greater than the threshold number of CSI-RS ports. The UE further processes, based on the CPU capability of the UE and a first setting for the CSI report for the first number of CSI-RS ports, the multiple CSI-RS resources for the CSI report. The first setting is based on a second setting for the threshold number of CSI-RS ports and a scaling factor. The UE then transmits the CSI report based on processed CSI-RS resources.
