MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641115813 A) filed by Kalasalingam Academy Of Research And Education on September 28, 2026, for Crab Shell Pulverizer With Dual Grade Siever Filter.
Inventors include Dr. S. Shasi Anand; and Dr. P. Jayakumar.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: The titled invention discloses crab shell pulverizer device with dual grade sieve filter to pulverize the crab shell into dual grade such as coarse grade and fine grade by placing the crab shell on the step conveyer belt (3) with conveyer drive motor (12). It helps to move the crab shell on the step conveyer belt (3) to the feed hopper (4). The 10 feed hopper (4) collects the crab shell and passes to the pulverizing chamber (5) one by one. The pulverizing chamber (5) with crushing blade dual rotor (6) spin in counter rotation powered with high speed pulverize drive motor (13) helps in pulverizing the crab shell. The crushed crab pass to upper vibrating sieve (7) and collects coarse grade in the collection outlet ( coarse grade) (10) and fine grade pass to lower vibrating 15 sieve (8) and it filters fine grade and collected in the another collection outlet (fine grade) (11). This device used to pulverize the crab shell and used for various applications like natural organic fertilizer, animal feed and some construction purpose.
