Abstract: A crop root removal device, comprising a telescopic rod 101 having a pair of elongated members 102 attached at an end of the rod 101 by hinges 103, members 102 having toothed edges for gripping onto a crop root for removal, rigid elongated bar 104 enabling a user to acquire a grip onto the rod 101, telescopic arm 105 having a motorized wheel 107 for supporting the rod 101 during a root removal process and providing leverage for the user, artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 108 for recording and processing images in a vicinity of the rod 101 to determine a root on a ground surface, hinges 103 to grip the root by the members 102, pivot joint 106 to position the arm 105 for providing leverage to the user, moisture sensor detects moisture level in ground surface and a speaker 109 for alerting the user regarding a wet area.
