MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641125544 A) filed by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham on October 21, 2026, for Cross-Session Visual Preference Memory For Attention Conditioning Of An Image Synthesizer.
Inventors include Avudaiappan, Veeramanohar; and Murali, Ritwik.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system (100) for generating an image according to visual preferences of a user. A memory unit (102) retains, across sessions of the user, a concept record (102-2) holding an appearance vector (202), an edit-direction vector (204), an acceptance weight (206) and a rejection weight (208). An injection unit (108) adds a projection (310) of the appearance vector (202) and the edit-direction vector (204) to image-token representations (322) within an attention layer (110- 2) of an image synthesizer (110), scaled by both weights, without altering parameters of the image synthesizer (110). An update unit (120) refines the concept record (102-2) from an acceptance, a rejection and an edit. Unlike conventional approaches that discard user preferences at each session end, the present disclosure steers generation across sessions for creative image tools.
