Abstract: The present invention relates to a curcumin-infused hydrogel designed for the treatment of psoriasis and skin regeneration, belonging to the technical field of dermatological compositions. The hydrogel comprises a matrix with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) as the structural framework, which is dissolved in water to form a viscous solution. Curcumin is encapsulated within cyclodextrin to form an inclusion complex, ensuring controlled and sustained delivery. Chitosan is blended into the PVA solution, enhancing the hydrogel's properties, while glycerin is uniformly distributed as a humectant. Vitamin E is incorporated during the mixing process, and citric acid is added to maintain a skin-friendly pH level. The method of preparation involves sequentially dissolving, blending, and incorporating these components to achieve a hydrogel capable of effectively delivering curcumin for therapeutic benefits.
