Abstract: The present invention relates to a data-driven fatigue estimation system for civil infrastructure systems. The system comprises structural response sensors installed at fatigue-sensitive regions of a civil infrastructure asset, a data acquisition unit, a data conditioning module, a load-cycle extraction module, a sensor confidence evaluation module, a physics-constrained fatigue estimation engine, a damage localization module, a residual life estimation module, and an output interface. The system receives strain, vibration, displacement, acoustic, temperature, corrosion, load, and environmental data from the monitored structure and processes the data to identify fatigue-relevant load cycles. Each sensor stream is assigned a confidence score to reduce false estimation caused by noise, drift, missing data, or faulty sensors. The fatigue estimation engine combines data-driven analytics with material, structural, and environmental constraints to estimate localized fatigue damage, residual life, and maintenance priority. The invention enables early detection of fatigue accumulation and supports targeted inspection and repair of civil infrastructure assets. Accompanied Drawing [FIGS. 1-2]
