Abstract: ABSTRACT The invention concerns a dead end clamp (100) for the fixation of a cable (10). The dead end clamp comprises a body (102) with two grooves (103a-b), an anchoring hook (101) fixed to the body (102), for each groove (103a-b), a jaw (104) with a channel (104a) to receive the cable (10), a through-hole (106) crossing at least one jaw (104) and opening in the channel (104a) and in front of the body (102), a sharp pin (120), a spring (122) and a ball (124). The sharp pin (120) is fixed at one opening (106a) of the through-hole (106) and emerges in the channel (104a), the ball (124) is at the other opening (106b) of the through-hole (106), and the spring (122) is between the sharp pin (120) and the ball (124). The length of the spring (122) is sufficient to ensure that the spring (122) is in contact with the sharp pin (120) and the ball (124) and that the ball (124) is in contact with the body (102)
