Abstract: Road accidents caused by improper or forgotten use of vehicle turn indicators are a major concern in modern transportation systems. The Automated Vehicle Indicator System using Google Maps aims to address these issues by providing intelligent and automatic turn indication based on real-time navigation data. The system integrates GPS modules, Google Maps APIs, IoT microcontrollers, and automated indicator control circuits to provide accurate and reliable signaling assistance. The system continuously tracks the vehicle’s location, analyzes navigation directions, and automatically activates left or right indicators before turns. This invention reduces driver workload, improves road safety, minimizes signaling errors, and supports future smart transportation technologies.
