MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202631096044 A) filed by Brainware University on August 08, 2026, for Design And Development Of An Iot Based Cloud Controlled Four Legged Tricolour Led Chaser Circuit.

Inventor includes Dr. Anirbit Sengupta.

The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the design and development of a system for controlling a four-legged tricolour LED-based dynamic lighting system, employing a plug- and-play architecture based on embedded technology capable of controlling more than 3,000 four-legged tricolour LEDs. The system employs a 32 KB In-System Programming (ISP) programmable flash microcontroller storing the application program as a HEX file to generate dynamic lighting patterns. The microcontroller interfaces with an ESP8266 Wi-Fi module and an octal bus transceiver, functioning as a three-state buffer for signal distribution and LED driving. The ESP8266 provides IoT connectivity, enabling lighting patterns, configuration parameters, and control instructions to be received via cloud-based commands for real-time remote operation and monitoring. The system manages more than 150 dynamic lighting patterns, each with independent timing control, offering enhanced security by separating program memory from cloud-based control architecture, and operates from a regulated 12 V, 5 A supply, minimizing power dissipation.
