Abstract: The design and construction of a helical wind turbine for small-scale power generation are presented in this project. Because it can capture wind from any direction and function well at low wind speeds, the helical (vertical-axis) rotor design was selected, making it appropriate for both urban and rural. In order to produce smooth airflow and constant torque during rotation, the turbine blades were studied and constructed utilizing fundamental aerodynamic concepts. To lower the turbine's startup speed and boost efficiency, lightweight materials were chosen. The findings demonstrated that the helical wind turbine can produce useful electrical output for modest applications, operates with reduced vibration, and rotates steadily even in low or fluctuating wind. This demonstrates that helical wind turbines are a viable and dependable choice for tiny renewable energy installations
