Abstract: The present invention relates to a solar-powered automatic bio-fertilizer processing and monitoring unit, designed to convert organic waste into nutrient-rich bio- fertilizer in an efficient and eco-friendly manner. The system utilizes renewable solar energy as its primary power source, ensuring low energy consumption and suitability for rural and remote areas. The invention comprises a solar panel, battery, voltage regulator, microcontroller (ESP32/Arduino), sensors, motorized mixing mechanism, and a processing chamber. Organic materials such as cow dung, cow urine, green leaves, and water are introduced into the chamber, where a controlled fermentation process takes place. The system is equipped with multiple sensors to monitor parameters such as temperature, humidity, gas levels, soil moisture, and nutrient content (NPK). The microcontroller processes this data and automatically controls system operations including mixing, aeration, and environmental adjustments to maintain optimal conditions for fermentation. The invention also includes a real-time display system (LCD) for monitoring system status and can be extended with IoT technology for remote monitoring and control. The automated mixing mechanism ensures uniform decomposition, reduces processing time, and minimizes odor. This invention provides a cost-effective, reliable, and sustainable solution for organic waste management and bio-fertilizer production, promoting environmentally friendly agricultural practices and reducing dependence on chemical fertilizers.
