Abstract: Compared to wheeled robots and machines, four-legged robots can move better in uneven or cluttered environments and furthermore, four-legged systems and robots are very expensive. It becomes very difficult for a normal person and educational institutions to buy. And then, by doing mathematical calculations of small sized four- legged robots, it becomes very difficult for them to move in a chaotic environment. This Quadruped Robot dog operates using readily available, inexpensive electronic parts and a four-legged 3D structure. Its electronic components are readily available in the market at low prices. The robot has an ESP32 module integrated, which handles 12 degrees of freedom (12 DOF). It performs analytical tasks; computes leg trajectories using inverse kinematics and gives command to the robot. We also have an IMU sensor installed. With its help, the robot can move easily on both flat and uneven surfaces. To control all the servos of the robot, a PCA9685 motor driver has been used which makes its movement easier. The robot can be controlled with the help of a wireless web server. The robot can move forward, left, right and backward easily. This robot has some modes like shaking hands, saying Namaste, walking etc. The compact, space efficient structure of a quadruped robot lets it reach the confined spaces. Its legged locomotion over surfaces provides balance and stability on uneven floors, slopes and cluttered indoor areas. It has gait generation and balance correction on a low-cost microcontroller with wireless command of movement and present behaviour modes. The invention is not limited to the named components. Equivalent microcontrollers, inertial sensors, servo drivers and servo motors may be used, and the frame may be 3D-printed or made by other methods. In some embodiments, additional modules such as a camera or distance sensors may be added to extend the robot's functions. This quadruped robot dog is applicable in education for teaching robotics, kinematics and embedded programming, as well as in research for low cost test subjects for gait and balance control experiments.
