Abstract: ABSTRACT Title: Deterministic Multi Objective Battery Management System A deterministic multi objective battery management system and method for a battery pack is disclosed. The invention integrates a sensor interface module, a BMS controller, a chemistry identification engine, a safety constraint module and a deterministic optimization engine to enable real time adaptive control of battery operation. The system acquires cell voltages, pack current and temperature, computes state of charge and state of health, and identifies battery chemistry by comparing measured characteristics with stored models. A deterministic optimization framework formulates and solves an objective function to minimize battery degradation, reduce thermal stress and maximize usable energy under defined safety constraints. The optimized control variables are translated into executable commands for regulating charging, discharging, balancing and thermal management through a control actuation module. The method enables chemistry aware adaptive parameter tuning, closed loop feedback and continuous optimization, thereby improving safety, efficiency and lifecycle performance in electric vehicles, battery energy storage systems and renewable energy storage applications.
