Abstract: LaxCoFe2-xO4/Graphite electrode acts as a highly sensitive, enzyme-free glucose sensor. This modified electrode solves a critical gap in analytical chemistry by enabling highly sensitive glucose sensing in an acidic electrolyte. The traditional non-enzymatic glucose sensors rely heavily on alkaline solutions to function. As based on the interfacial physical barrier, it could blocking the existing problem of the traditional sensing mechanism and apply in more interfering environment. The platform successfully drives glucose oxidation within a mild 0.1 M HCl electrolyte medium. The electrochemical changes were recorded for glucose molecule via its redox reactions, which shows direct electro-oxidation and reduction on modified electrode surface, yielding a sharp, measurable current response at specific potentials. The electrochemical sensitivity of glucose was recorded for anodic peak potential at +0.024 V and cathodic peak at +0.19 V. It achieves a remarkably low Limit of Detection (LOD) of 0.6 mM. The proposed synthesis method enables the development of diverse nanostructured materials featuring excellent stability and high sensitivity for electrochemical glucose detection.
