Abstract: [052] The present invention relates to an IoT-integrated fuzzy logic-based intelligent decision support system for multi-criteria optimization and real-time healthcare diagnostic assistance. The system comprises IoT-enabled healthcare sensors, an edge processing gateway, a data validation module, a fuzzy logic inference engine, a patient-specific calibration module, a multi-criteria optimization module, an alert prioritization module, and a healthcare dashboard. The system acquires heterogeneous physiological and contextual healthcare data, validates reliability of the data, maps the validated data into fuzzy health states, evaluates patient-specific fuzzy rules, and generates optimized risk scores, diagnostic-assistance outputs, recommendations, and prioritized alerts. The multi-criteria optimization module evaluates clinical severity, trend acceleration, patient vulnerability, data confidence, resource availability, and response urgency to produce explainable decision-support outputs. The invention improves real-time patient monitoring, reduces false alarms, enables early detection of health deterioration, supports remote healthcare environments, and assists clinicians and caregivers without replacing final medical judgement.
