MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511035601 A) filed by Indian Institute Of Technology Delhi on April 11, 2025, for Development Of Thermoregulatory Polyester Filaments From Textile Waste.
Inventors include Samanta, Archana; and Bhandari, Aditya.
The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: A thermoregulatory polyester filament comprising 50 to 99.9% by weight polyester waste and 0.01. to 50 % by weight phase change material, said polyester being obtained from polyester waste. Also provided is process for preparing such thermoregulatory polyester filament.
