Abstract: The present disclosure provides a device (102) for determining a diameter of weld spots (302) in a vehicle (110). The device (102) comprises at least one image capturing unit (104), at least one laser distance sensor (106), and a controller (108). The at least one image capturing unit (104) captures at least one image of one or more weld spots (302). The at least one laser distance sensor (106) detects a distance between the one or more weld spots (302) and the at least one image capturing unit (104). The controller (108) computes a reference conversion value based on the distance and one or more parameters to detect the one or more weld spots (302). Further, controller (108) determines a diameter of the one or more weld spots (302) in the vehicle (110).
