MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527128800 A) filed by Ea Elektro-Automatik on December 18, 2025, for Device For Testing An Electrical Energy Store.

Inventors include Mller, Wolfgang; and Himmels, Michael.

The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device (1) for testing at least one electrical energy store (2), having at least one connection apparatus (3) and at least one test apparatus (4). The connection apparatus (3) and the test apparatus (4) can be connected via at least one charging line (5). The connection apparatus (3) has at least one first connection element (6a) and at least one second connection element (6b) for making electrical contact with the energy store (2). The test apparatus (4) has at least one test unit (9) and at least one safety circuit (10), wherein the test unit (9) can be used to charge and discharge the energy store (2) via the charging line (5) using a test current. The test unit (9) has at least one first measuring channel (15) and at least one second measuring channel (16). The first measuring channel (15) has at least two measuring lines (15a, 15b) which are each connected to the charging line (5) at a position (18a, 18b) on the test unit side. The second measuring channel (16) has at least two measuring lines (16a, 16b) which are each connected to the charging line (5) at a position (19a, 19b) on the connection apparatus side. The safety circuit (10) can be used to make or break the electrical connection between the connection apparatus (3) and the test unit (9) at the charging line (5). The test unit (9) has at least one third measuring channel (17), wherein the third measuring channel (17) has at least one first measuring line (17a) and at least one second measuring line (17b), and wherein the first measuring line (17a) is connected to the charging line (5) at a position (19c) on the connection unit side and the second measuring line (17b) is connected to the charging line at a position (18b) on the test unit side.
