Abstract: Abstract Disclosed is a diabetes risk prediction system for allergic rhinitis patients. The system comprises a housing, an input interface supported by the housing, a control unit operatively associated with the input interface, and a display unit supported by the housing. The input interface receives a fasting blood glucose value in mg/dl, a fasting serum insulin value in µU/L, and an allergic rhinitis severity grade selected from normal, mild, moderate, and severe grades based on a visual analog scale-based allergic rhinitis assessment. The control unit converts the fasting blood glucose value into mmol/L, determines an insulin resistance value using a homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance calculation, compares the insulin resistance value with predefined insulin resistance ranges, associates the allergic rhinitis severity grade with the insulin resistance value, and classifies a diabetes risk condition. The display unit displays the diabetes risk condition. Fig. 1 Dated May 29, 2026 / Kumar Tushar Srivastava IN/PA-3973 Agent for the Applicant
