Abstract: Abstract Disclosed is a digital arithmetic gaming system for conducting a rule-based number selection game using dice outcomes. The system comprises a support structure, a dice-value presentation arrangement, a number selection arrangement with user-actuatable number inputs corresponding to game numbers, a number indication arrangement with indicators corresponding to the game numbers, an audio indication arrangement, a memory storing rule data and selection-state data, and a processing unit operatively connected thereto. The processing unit generates and presents one or more dice values for a game turn, receives player selection inputs after presentation of the dice values, retrieves applicable rule data, determines whether the selection inputs satisfy a permitted selection condition, causes a locked-state indication and storage of corresponding selection-state data upon valid selection, causes an invalid- selection signal upon invalid selection, and controls subsequent gameplay such that a previously locked game number is prevented from being accepted again.
