MUMBAI, India, June 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202631068720 A) filed by Inditronix Ai Labs Private Limited on June 01, 2026, for Digital Auscultation System And Method For Guided Physiological Data Acquisition.

Inventors include Saha, Kundan; Thakur, Atul; and Raj, Rishi.

The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a digital auscultation system (100) and a method (200) for guided acquisition of physiological data (130) from a subject (114). The system (100) includes a diagnostic device (102) comprising a digital stethoscope, an imaging device (104), a proximity sensor (110), an XR interface (112), and processors (106) coupled to a memory (108). The imaging device (104) generates image data (120) representing the subject (114) and the diagnostic device (102), and the proximity sensor (110) generates proximity data (128) indicative of a device-to-body gap. The processors (106) determine anatomical key points, generate a placement marker (122) corresponding to a target auscultation region (124), determine a position of the diagnostic device (102), and enable acquisition and/or transmission of the physiological data (130) when the diagnostic device (102) is within a clinically acceptable placement zone (126) and contacts a body surface (116).
