Abstract: The present invention relates to a Digital Twin Based Web-Controlled Robotic System Using ESP32 for real-time monitoring, visualization and remote control of a multi-joint robotic arm. The system comprises a physical robotic arm actuated by servo motors, an ESP32 microcontroller, a Wi-Fi-based communication layer, a Python Flask backend server and a browser-based three-dimensional digital twin implemented using Three.js. The ESP32 controls the servo motors and acquires or determines corresponding joint-position information, which is transmitted to the backend server using HTTP-based communication, preferably in JSON format. The backend processes the received information and updates the virtual robotic model in real time. A web dashboard may further visualize joint angles, movement trends, system latency and motion-related parameters using chart-based visualization. The system additionally supports bidirectional operation in which user commands generated through web-based sliders, predefined movement commands or script-based operations are transmitted back to the ESP32 for servo actuation. The proposed architecture provides a low-cost, scalable and remotely accessible approach for digital-twin-based robotic monitoring and control, with potential applications in education, IoT-enabled robotics, CNC automation, material handling and industrial process monitoring.
