Abstract: The present invention relates to a Digital Twin-enabled smart safety band designed to provide continuous personal safety monitoring, predictive threat detection, and intelligent emergency management. The proposed system integrates a wearable smart band with multiple sensing modules, including physiological, motion, voice, and location sensors, to continuously collect information representing the user's physical condition, behavioural activities, and surrounding context. The collected information is processed through an edge computing unit and synchronized with a Digital Twin, which maintains a dynamic virtual representation of the user by continuously learning normal behavioural patterns and updating them in real time. The Digital Twin compares incoming sensor information with the established behavioural profile to identify abnormal deviations that may indicate a potential safety threat. A predictive risk assessment module evaluates multiple parameters collectively rather than relying on individual sensor readings, thereby improving the reliability of threat detection and minimizing false emergency alerts. When a potential threat is identified, the system automatically activates an emergency management engine that communicates with trusted contacts, emergency response services, and authorized users by transmitting live location information and other relevant safety data. Unlike conventional wearable safety devices that primarily depend on manual activation or isolated event detection, the proposed invention continuously adapts to the user's routine behavior and performs proactive risk assessment through real-time synchronization between the physical user and the Digital Twin. The integrated architecture provides an intelligent, adaptive, and automated personal safety framework capable of supporting timely emergency intervention with minimal user interaction. The invention is applicable to women safety, elderly care, child protection, lone-worker monitoring, and other personal safety applications requiring continuous monitoring and predictive emergency response.
