Abstract: A display device (100) includes a lower substrate (111) having a thin film transistor (130) disposed thereon, an upper substrate (112) disposed above the lower substrate (111), a plurality of pad electrodes (PE1, PE2, PE3) disposed in a non-active area (NA) of the lower substrate (111), a hole (H) extending through the lower substrate (111) from a lower surface of the lower substrate (111) toward a pad electrode, among the plurality of pad electrodes (PE1, PE2, PE3), and a flexible film (160) coupled to the pad electrode (PE1, PE2, PE3) through a conductive layer (165) disposed in the hole (H). Accordingly, the width of the front edge is minimized or reduced without flipping the substrate so that the increase in the reflectance of the display panel (110) and the degradation of the rigidity of the display unit due to the flipping of the substrate may be suppressed.
