Abstract: A method of manufacturing an end connector (10) is disclosed. The method comprises providing a round pipe (12), cutting the round pipe (12) to a predetermined length, deburring an end of the round pipe (12), and cleaning the round pipe (12) to remove contaminants. An end portion (12a) of the round pipe (12) is then formed through sequential punch operations. The round pipe (12) is positioned between a plurality of groove-forming rollers (14a, 14b, 14c) arranged circumferentially around the round pipe (12), each groove-forming roller comprising at least two annular teeth (16a, 16b). The groove-forming rollers are radially engaged against an outer surface of the round pipe (12) under controlled pressure while relative rotation occurs between the round pipe (12) and the groove-forming rollers. The annular teeth plastically deform the round pipe (12) to simultaneously form at least two axially spaced annular grooves (18a, 18b) in a single rolling operation, enabling reliable sealing in the end connector (10) (Refer FIGS. 2A-3C).
