Abstract: The present invention relates to a drawn arc stud welding assembly designed to enhance the quality of arc stud welding by incorporating a ceramic ferrule, a collar assembly, and an argon gas supply system. The collar assembly features three openings: one for the gun nozzle, one for locating and housing the ceramic ferrule, and one for argon gas supply. This configuration allows the collar assembly to engulf the ceramic ferrule along with the arc stud during welding, ensuring stability and control of the arc. The argon gas supply system maintains an inert atmosphere in the welding zone, reducing spatter and preventing oxidation. The invention is particularly applicable in manufacturing areas where arc stud welding is used, such as in switchgear for welding arc studs onto sheets to mount various components or provide structural strength. The assembly is designed to improve the overall quality of the weld by concentrating the total energy for welding and adhering to ISO standards ISO14555 and ISO13918. Fig. 2
